About us: Europe-Committee of the Foundation of Free Women in Syria
We are a small group of Kurdish and German women, some of whom have been working in internationalist and solidarity structures for a long time. We live in different cities and meet regularly for online meetings, occasionally also physically in Berlin or on the occasion of large nationwide events. We have regular contact and exchange with the women of the foundation and support their diverse work. We develop the focus of our work in consultation with the with the foundation’s employees.
In order to maintain and further develop the existing projects, we are looking for contacts with committed organizations here in Germany and in other (European) countries who are interested in cooperating with the Foundation of Free Women in Syria.
The aim is to strengthen the special position of women in their societal development, to share their experiences and to make them strong in the debate there and here.
We in Europe support the work of the Women’s Foundation through campaigns and events, and you are welcome to invite us to lectures.
